Can be based out of any of the UNFI offices.Promotional Planning:- Administers all promotional requests including changes and deletes.- Integrates data, specifically pricing, from UNFI East and West business systems and consolidate for customer account Promotions Coordinator and Category Managers. - Creates and administers systems and communicates all warehouse availability disparities. Works with NCGA and UNFI buyers as needed for placement needs and requests. - Receives promotional estimates from NCGA and recap totals per UNFI warehouse for UNFI buyers.   Promotional Execution:- Oversees system for auto ships on Custom promotions (CAP) and Holiday items and effectively communicates changes or issues. - Provides weekly reporting for and monitor promotional out of stocks and research vendor/UNFI accountability issues.- Works with National Account Manager and customer account on selling through overstocked CAP product at the UNFI Distribution Centers. - Provides status updates on promotions and advise any delays. Work with UNFI personnel and vendors to minimize possible delay in receiving products. - Keeps an updated contact list of all customer account store level buyers and will be asked to, from time to time, broadcast special buys or programs to the co-ops.- Processes demo items that are distributed through UNFI.- Maintains, monitors, and solicits vendor discounts for New Store Vendor Discount Program as outlined by the customer. - Submits deduction information for flyer ad fees, coupon book ad fees, and coupon book redemptions to UNFI. Maintain communication with UNFI to ensure all payments are received in a timely manner. Notifies Account of any deduction corrections or errors.- Manages UNFI vendor deduction information and maintain account billing archive.- Ensures the Account and UNFI are meeting contract obligations related to CAP and EDLPs/OGDs.- Handles general problems, questions, and informational requests from Account, their members, and UNFI.- Develops and enhances an understanding of the CAP program both on a regional and national level. - Presents a unified face to Account Purchasing Staff where desired, understanding the operational and procedural differences within UNFI East and West and integrating information. Able to perform all assigned duties knowing there may be two outcomes.- Provides movement reports for all sales for all vendors as needed.- Provides support for promotional events, to include trade shows, conferences, exhibits, and demonstrations. | ||||
